Community Forum Agreement – Effective: Sunday, August 11, 2019

INTRODUCTION

The Dennis Plant Garden Community Forum (“The Plant Forum”) is provided as a public service to enable Dennis Plant Garden community members and other users (visitors) to interact with each other by posting questions, comments and commentary.  The Community Forum is subject to these Terms of Use. If you are interested in registering to post content in our Community Forum, you must acknowledge during the registration process that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use.

Dennis Plant Garden Community Forum Agreement (the “Agreement”) provides important information about  the visitor “Your” use of the Dennis Plant Garden Community Forum site (“The Plant Forum”) and is an agreement between you and Dennis Plant Garden (that governs your use of the Dennis Plant Garden Community Forum, (“The Plant Forum”).

Guidelines for Posting in the Plant Forum

 

  • - Be kindhearted towards one another.  We adore the atmosphere of our website and take great pleasure in helping and seeing how much everyone values serving each other.  We work hard protecting our visitors & members right of expression, but not to the extent of bulling, assaulting or verbally abusing any users of the website, as well, we labor to preserve this sites’ culture.  In understanding the different levels of experiences, practices, and education, we allow everyone to express their opinion as they see fit, remembering we all started somewhere.

  • - Do not ask repetitive questions.  Use the forum “search” – to see if the question you are seeking an answer too has already posted.  In many cases someone has already solved the problem that you are facing.

  • - Use meaningful titles. ‘How can I create a collapsing and expanding repeater?’ is a much better title than ‘Help please!’. This makes it easier for people to spot the posts that they can help with.

  • - Use Hashtags. makes it #easy #to #follow #topics.

  • - Multiple short posts are better than a long one. This allows other people to benefit from our posts after we're done with it. Keeping posts short makes it easy to find answers, and makes the post relevant for more people.

  • - Keep questions focused and clear. Clarify your ideas and questions.  This will make each question/post easier to solve/look-up, which makes it possible for more people to answer/comment.

  • - Format the text in your question. Use “clear” legible text – (not script fonts), bullets, etc. to make it easier to read and understand.

  • - Provide as many details as possible.  Share what you think is right, what you’ve tried to do, and what blocks you. Include any relevant screenshots, code, and URLs to make it easier for others to understand the problem.

  • - Acknowledge our peers’.  Help by marking a 'Top Comment' for the best answer. This will also make it easier to spot the correct answer.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT AND USE THE DENNIS PLANT GARDEN COMMUNITY FORUM, YOU MUST ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT AS PRESENTED TO YOU, WITHOUT CHANGES.  BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT AND BY CONTINUING TO ACCESS OR USE THE FORUM SITE, YOU ARE ACCEPTING AND AGREEING TO THESE TERMS ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF OR THE ENTITY YOU REPRESENT, AND YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT, AUTHORITY, AND CAPACITY TO ACCEPT AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF OR THE ENTITY YOU REPRESENT.  YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE FORUM SITE, OR ACCEPT OR AGREE TO THESE TERMS, IF YOU HAVE NOT REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN YOUR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE.  IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THESE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE FORUM SITE.
 

IF ANY FUTURE CHANGE IS UNACCEPTABLE TO YOU, YOU SHOULD DISCONTINUE USING THE FORUM SITE.  YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE FORUM SITE WILL ALWAYS INDICATE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY CHANGES MADE THEREIN.
